About copyright

Marion Zimmer Bradley owns the copyright on the Darkover world and all the involved characters. This site does not make ANY claim about Darkover. It is an analysis of the Darkover world, not a fictionnal work derived from the Darkover novels.

My goal is to promote Darkover novels and short stories. I hope that copyright violations won't be considered too harmful compared to the implied free advertisement for Daw and other publishers. That's why I have included what I call the "official presentation" of the novels, which is in fact the presentation text included on the back of the books, without authorization.

For the same reason, I have also included short quotations from novels, introductions, and many other things related to Darkover. This is not a copyright violation as small quotations are authorized by copyright law.
